- Alcester Fire Station that I remember was located fronting the Stratford Road at circa OS Grid ref SP 09074 57235. It comprised not much more than a garage large enough to take a single vehicle and sat derelict adjoining the area of public open space that borders the river and runs between Stratford Road and Gas House Lane. It was demolished some years ago and the site is now part of that open space although I think the floor slab is still there.
